October Half Term

It's our favourite time of year......... Halloween!!!! Join us for some spooktacular fun at our October Half Term Camp Hogwarts as we delve deep into the spooky and creepy side of the Wizarding World! Just be extra specially aware, as you never know who or what might be lurking round each corner. Especially on our Dark Arts Day! 

Camp Hogwarts

Camp Hogwarts is back for a Half Term full of fun frights, excitement and of course some magic along the way!

Camps will be running over three weeks to accommodate those with differing or longer holidays than others and for various inset days. We'll have plenty of Halloween fun including Potions, spells, Halloween fancy dress competition, Defence Against the Dark Arts, encounter magical creatures, try some Pumpkin Juice and play some Quidditch, there's so much to do, not to mention our  a visit from Berkshire Birds of Prey on 27th October, our very first Forbidden Forest Day, followed by a Halloween Party on 28th October and our annual Dark Arts Day on 29th October.

All camps will be taking place at The Scout Centre, Arthur Road, Motspur Park, KT3 6LX.

Week 1 

​

Thursday 23rd October 

Friday 24th October 

Each day will be different with lots of different activities that include Charms, Care of Magical Creatures, Flying Lessons, Quidditch, Herbology and much more, this is sure to be a camp not to miss.

​

On Friday 24th October we will begin at Sir Joseph Hood Memorial Playing Fields, Marina Avenue, Motspur Park at 10am, where we will do some fun outdoor activities. We will then walk over to the Scout Centre for lunch and the afternoon activities.

Week 2

​

Monday 27th October Berkshire Birds of Prey Visit followed by a        Magic Movie extension (Chamber of Secrets)

​

Tuesday 28th October Forbidden Forest Day  followed by our Halloween Party extension.

​

Wednesday 29th October Dark Arts Day 

​

​Week 3

​

Monday 3rd November.

​

We will begin at Sir Joseph Hood Memorial Playing Fields, Marina Avenue, Motspur Park at 10am, where we will do some fun outdoor activities. We will then walk over to the Scout Centre for lunch and the afternoon activities.

Each day at Camp Hogwarts runs from 10am until 3pm and costs £40 per day. Our Magic Movie and Halloween Party extensions will run from 3pm until 5.30pm and cost £10 and £15 respectively.

On 23rd, 27th, 28th & 29th October we will run our early morning Magic Hour from 9am for anyone needing to drop children earlier. This costs £5 per child per day.

Dark Arts Day

As Halloween approaches, Camp Hogwarts takes a dark twist! All of our activities take on a Dark Arts twist to add an extra layer of fun and awe to the camp. Watch out for Dementors, Death Eaters and other dark things that lurk around the camp. Taking place on Wednesday 29th October.

What lurks in the Forbidden Forest? Come down to Camp Hogwarts and you might just find out! Join us on Tuesday 28th October for a forest full of fun, wonder and magic!

Halloween Party

Get ready for a spooktacular party full of tricks, treats, pumpkins and so much more! Our Halloween Party extension on Tuesday 28th October is set to be even bigger and better than last year! Once Camp Hogwarts finishes for the day, the remaining Muggles carry on their stay in the Wizarding World and celebrate our favourite holiday in true Hogwarts style! Running from 3pm until 5.30pm.

Magic Movie

Don't want to leave at 3pm on 27th October? We've got you sorted! Why not stay until 5.30pm and watch Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on the big screen with a snack and a drink on us, extending the magic a bit longer!

Birds of Prey

Get ready for a visit from some feathered friends!

We are delighted to once again be welcoming Berkshire Birds of Prey to Camp Hogwarts on Monday 27th October for a magical visit.

Meet lots of different owls you might have seen in the Harry Potter films and books and get to see some other birds of prey too. 

Children will get to hold each of them and maybe even get a flying demonstration too!
