October Half Term

Camp Hogwarts is back for a Half Term full of fun frights, excitement and of course some magic along the way!

Camps will be running over three weeks to accommodate those with differing or longer holidays than others. We'll have plenty of Halloween fun including Potions, spells, Halloween fancy dress competition, Defence Against the Dark Arts, encounter magical creatures, try some Pumpkin Juice and play some Quidditch, there's so much to do, not to mention our Dark Arts Day and Halloween party on 29th October.

Week 1 

​

First up are camps at The Scout Centre, Motspur Park on Monday 21st, Tuesday 22nd, Wednesday 23rd, Thursday 24th and Friday 25th October. 

Each day will be different with lots of different activities that include Charms, Care of Magical Creatures, Flying Lessons, Quidditch, Herbology, Ancient Runes and introducing our brand new Advanced Potion Making lesson! This is sure to be a camp not to miss.

On Monday 21st and Friday 25th October will begin at Sir Joseph Hood Memorial Playing Fields, Marina Avenue, Motspur Park at 10am, where we will do some fun outdoor activities. We will then walk over to the Scout Centre for lunch and the afternoon activities.

Week 2

​

The following week will see Camp Hogwarts really turn up the Halloween Havoc as we celebrate our favourite time of the year. Join us on Monday 28th for a day full of Halloween tricks, treats and fun, including visiting the Hogwarts Ghosts, a Halloween Fancy Dress Competition (although if this is not your thing just come dressed as a Muggle) and some Pumpkin Juice tasting from the Leaky Cauldron. This will also be a Magic Movie Day, where the children can stay after Camp Hogwarts finishes for the day and watch Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on a big screen until 5.45pm.

The following day on Tuesday 29th October we look forward to welcoming you to our Dark Arts Day! Everything at Camp Hogwarts takes a dark twist as you get to learn the unforgivable curses, come face to face with numerous dark creatures, battle Death Eaters and Dark Witches and Wizards amongst other things. And if that wasn't enough, how about a Camp Hogwarts Halloween Party thrown in? Stay for another extended hours day from 3 until 5.30pm and experience some Halloween party games and various Camp Hogwarts activities at dusk. We can't wait!

Week 3

​

Finally we will be holding a Camp Hogwarts at The Scout Centre, Motspur Park on Monday 4th November, as some children will not have returned to school by then. We will be running lots of favourite Camp Hogwarts activities and due to the close proximity to Guy Fawkes Night, we will take a look at certain spells that go BANG in the Wizarding World.

Each day at Camp Hogwarts runs from 10am until 3pm (5.45pm for Magic Movie Day, 5.30pm for Halloween Party) and costs £40 per child per day (£10 extra if staying for the Magic Movie, £15 extra for Halloween Party).
