Quidditch World Cup

As the Muggles attention turns towards Qatar and the football World Cup in November, the wizarding world has its own World Cup to think about... The Quidditch World Cup!

And this year we're letting Muggles in on the action. Taking place on Sunday 13th November at The Scout Centre, Arthur Road, Motspur Park, come and get involved and join one of the countries competing to win our first ever Quidditch World Cup. Open to children aged 6-12 of all abilities, with fun and enjoyment being the main aim of the day. Take part in a training session before hand to get to grips with Quidditch, then take part in a fun and magical tournament representing one of the countries of the Quidditch World Cup.

The day begins at 10am and finishes at 2pm.

All Abilities Welcome

The main aim of our Quidditch World Cup is to have lots of fun.

You may have played Quidditch before or you might be completely new to it, it doesn't matter to us! All children aged between 6 and 12 of any ability are welcome to take part. All we ask is you come along wanting to have FUN!

The day will begin with a training session for all children where you will get to learn the rules and positions involved in Quidditch. You'll get to understand all about scoring with the Quaffle and stopping opponents with the Bludger and of course catching the Golden Snitch!

Tournament

Once the training is complete its on to The Quidditch World Cup Tournament itself!

Using the skills you have learnt previously you play matches against other children with your team, representing one of the countries that have qualified for the tournament. Each child will play lots of Quidditch matches, getting the full experience of the tournament and for some lucky children, they will get the chance to compete in the Final! Win, lose or draw it's set to be an amazing day! Will you emulate Victor Krum, the famous Bulgarian seeker and catch the Golden Snitch? Will you score goals for your country? Will you put your Bludger to good use? There's only one way to find out! Sign up today.
